Excerpt

What happened? Her head was groggy, almost as though she was suffering from the mother of all hangovers. I fell!
Cautiously she traced her palms down each leg squeezing and praying not to feel the stabbing agony of a fracture. So far so good she thought, both of her legs seemed fine. She didn't need to palm her ass and back to know she was sore, her chest and cheek hadn't fared much better either, and the sweat that had suddenly begun to seep from her pores trickled into shallow cuts and abrasions to sting like bees. Silence surrounded her.
“David?” she called out weakly hearing only her own echo returning faintly.
“David!” she shouted, louder this time.
Alone! Helen rubbed her elbows and tried to stand, her head bumping against the passage ceiling before she reached full height. Why didn't he answer, she hadn't fallen that far… had she?
“David?” she screamed at the top of her lungs, but once again she remained unanswered.
Think she told herself, I must have been unconscious for a while because obviously David called out to me, then when I didn't answer he rushed off to find help.
So he will be returning. Helen shuffled back the way she had fallen, but in the half light she could see that the passage was far too steep and slick for her to consider a climb back up.
So what are my options? She peered into the unknown tunnel lying ahead and rubbed her eyes, maybe they were playing tricks but she could swear the darkness brightened slightly. So there is light ahead of me too. Maybe a way out?
“And if it is a way out, do I just stroll around naked?”
It's a straight passage more or less she told herself as she made a decision, I'll crawl through to the other end, take a look around and see if there's anything I can use to cover myself up with, if there isn't or it turns out to be a dead end I'll just crawl back here and wait for Dave to get back with ropes or rescue.
Moments later she was shuffling forward on a passage floor that felt as smooth and polished as glass as a constant breeze carried past her from the chamber above.
Helen had no idea that the floor was polished so smooth because of centuries of constant use, the passing of thousands of feet, nor did she understand that since she'd stood leaning against the railings before her fall, the aroma of her wet and horny pussy had been wafting steadily on the breeze… an aroma that was being savoured… even as she crawled.
***
It's definitely getting lighter up ahead she told herself after a couple of minutes steady shuffling, around her the light was steadily strengthening. And it smells too she though, like wet dog… or dead dog she added, the smell was pungent.
I'll just peep, then I'll probably have to head back, but the thought of being rescued, naked filled her with embarrassment, she wanted to at least cover a little of her growing shame from strangers eyes.
I can get David to throw my clothes down first! Helen grinned, it was the obvious solution, then she could be hauled out fully clothed with her dignity intact, then all I'll get is a slap on the wrist for ignoring the rules, and I can counter and ask why the railings broke so easily. I was in the wrong, and the authorities were also in the wrong, so we cancel each other out and I walk away with nothing worse than a few scratches. It was the obvious and simple solution, and she should have turned around immediately, but curiosity drove her on, the light was stronger, she must have been reaching the end.
And then her heart stopped and her muscles froze as behind her she heard the rattle of sliding and rolling pebbles. She would have managed to convince herself it was a natural rock slide had it not been for another sound… a sound that definitely wasn't sliding rocks… a sound that was like a large animal snuffling and grunting… and in a panic Helen raced forward and tumbled head first into another, larger and very well lit chamber.
A chamber filled with unfriendly eyes.
